The December Chapter CE Webcast will be presented by Dr. Dana Woody, Assistant Professor at Liberty University School of Nursing. Dr. Woody will discuss different types of disaster, the phases of disaster, and the effects seen within communities during each phase. She will help learners better understand nursing roles in disaster management and opportunities to provide support in all phases of disaster. Join Dr. Woody to learn more about preparedness and the implications for nurses!
Participants can earn 1 nursing contact hour for participation in this session. The Virginia Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
